Ayana is a young and clever film-maker, with great cinematographic knowledge and many original ideas on which to work on.

In 2004 some friends told me to download and watch the Dementrix episodes.

On the set! Dementrix is a weird parody to The Matrix trilogy, and was shot in three short episodes with students of my university acting as the main characters. The result is a funny italian comedy, with true computer-addicted freaks acting the roles of the heroes from the original saga... This is Ayana on the set, taking a scene with her MiniDV.

Ayana was the screenwriter and director of the series. At the beginning of the recordings for the third episode, a friend we have in common proposed me to partecipate as the original soundtrack composer; that's how we got in touch.
I did some tracks with my friend Mr. Alby LaBress singing the lead vocals. Creating the tracks on her movie script was really a nice experience.

Revenge The non-sense and hilarious gags of Dementrix evolved into sharp and peculiar situations in the nice Kill Billy short movie.

Kill Billy also features some original 3D animations and special effects, which seamlessly integrate with the digital takes, surprising the audience.
Watching these short movies, you won't believe that they were shot with a zero budget! And they are full of hidden references and homages to classics, too.
